Born of the vision and audacity of 3 brothers, The Independente lives in the core of two palaces erected in the late XIX century, planted where 3 of the most iconic Lisbon neighborhoods meet.

Like a carefully chiseled terrace over the secular urban landscape, the Miradouro (viewpoint) de São Pedro de Alcântara provides the perfect foreground for a hostel that expands and transforms the very definition of hostel as we once knew it.
