These are pieces that go beyond the notion of simple posters.

They are graphic testimony and give voice to a key period in Portugal’s history: a time of political and social transformation, told here between 25th April 1974 and the so-called Hot Summer of 1975.

Originally pasted on walls and buildings, these posters were rescued and kept in a drawing folder for five decades.

Each piece carries its own message, together forming an exhibition that reflects the different sensibilities and political perspectives of the time.
