Transe [ Trance] is the first anthological exhibition by Portuguese artist Rui Moreira. Through some 80 drawings and paintings on medium and very large format paper, the artist reveals his intensity and energy.
From the choice of colours to the focus between the abstract and the figurative, the perfectionism of the artist is brought to the fore.
This exhibition explores a range of themes with a multiplicity of narratives, references and symbologies, from which details of clothes, props and gestures accentuate the symbolic value of the characters that are both interlinked and fused.
