Jardins Abertos Festival returns this May for its 14th edition, inviting you to imagine a future where city and nature converge in a space of respect and balance.

On the weekends of 3–4, 10–11, 17–18 and 24–25 May, the gates of several gardens across Lisbon will open to the public, free of charge, offering guided tours, workshops, nature walks, and gardening activities.

Highlights include recently established gardens such as the  MACAM Garden, Jardins do Bombarda, and Jardim do Caracol da Penha. The programme also features BioBlitzs – events that encourage participants to discover and record the biodiversity found in the city's gardens.

Organised in partnership with Lisbon City Council, the festival fosters a meeting point between people and nature, inviting everyone to imagine, experience, and shape a fairer, more balanced future.
