Un festival che nasce con l’obiettivo di promuovere il meglio del cinema del terrore, in tutte le sue varianti – dalle grandi produzioni al cinema sperimentale, dai classici alle nuove tendenze.
 

Marion Cotillard, John Malkovich, Paul Rudd, Selton Mello and Jenny Ortega are among the big names lighting up the programme of the Lisboa International Horror Film Festival.

In 2025, MOTELX marks its 19th edition with a special focus on women and on Portuguese productions, ranging from feature films to shorts, retrospectives, children’s cinema and documentaries.

It is a major celebration of this branch of the Seventh Art, taking place in Lisboa alongside other associated events such as parties, workshops, masterclasses and concerts.
