During this period, he lived with and captured scenes from the daily life and private lives of some of the families of the Portuguese emigrant community who lived on the outskirts of Paris. In 1996, they were presented for the first time at the Lisbon Municipal Archive | Fotográfico, in an exhibition entitled Portuguese in France - 1982-1984.

Allez Paris, curated by Sofia Castro, aims to stimulate reflection on the phenomena of emigration and migration, maintaining the purpose of other exhibitions that propose a re-reading of authors present in the collection of the Lisbon Municipal Photographic Archive, as well as the valorisation and dissemination of their work.
