Works by some of Portugal’s most important painters can be viewed right in the centre of Setúbal.
The gallery is in the centre of the city, in a building constructed in the first half of the 20th Century.
The art exhibition comprises 14 paintings from the reredos in the chancel of the Church of Jesus.
The paintings are masterpieces by Jorge Afonso, one of the greatest Portuguese painters of the 16th Century.
