KINE is an installation piece authored by visual artist VEL Z and can be seen at GCK - Gabinete Curiosidades Karnart, Av. Índia 168 - in Belém, Lisbon, from April 1st between 2pm and 5pm every week Thursday to Saturday, until April 23rd.

KINEMATIK 1 and KINEMATIK 2 are technological projects of digital image metamorphosis which were the departure points for KINE.

Drawing on photographs taken by the artist as well as footage filmed by him, VEL Z develops, within a studio-laboratory environment and using diverse technologies, a one-man show of hybrid objects that cross cinema and painting.

The project summons a multiplicity of metaphors and narratives that foreground the nude body, distortion, and grotesque.
