From the 19th to the 29th of June, the Lisbon Players will present a new staging of Henrik Ibsen's ‘Hedda Gabler’, one of the greatest female roles in the history of theatre.
The historic company of british origins remains faithful to its purpose of performing in English, and its audience and members are increasingly international.
The show, subtitled in Portuguese, is directed and adapted by Miguel Jesus and stars Benedita Pereira, who joins the many renowned Portuguese performers the company has given the stage to.
