The most irreverent works by Portugal’s most prestigious cartoonists are once again on display.
The art of caricature is back in Vila Franca de Xira, one of the main cultural hubs of cartoon artistry in Portugal.
With the aim of providing the public with a critical and provocative artistic view of contemporary issues, cartoonists António Antunes, Vasco Gargalo, André Carrilho, Cristina Sampaio, João Fazenda, António Maia, Rodrigo Matos, Cristiano Salgado, Nuno Saraiva and Adão Silva, as well as international artist Hoppmann, present works on a wide range of topics, from social and cultural issues to events that shape everyday life.
